Nantucket Culinary Center has an in-house cafe, group cooking classes, private dining parties, and culinary-themed events. At the cafe, you’ll find a refrigerator case filled with prepared foods, including salads in a mason jar, sandwiches, and more. Their Smoked Fish Dip is delicious atop fresh bread.

Bartlett’s Farm

Bartlett’s Farm is Nantucket Island’s Oldest and Largest family owned farm. The farm offers fresh locally grown vegetables, cut flowers, annuals and perennials. Visit the year-round market for sundries and prepared foods, lunch specials and soups of that day. They also hold Farm to Table dinners. Grab some food to go and have a picnic outside the farm or at a beach.

The restaurant’s menu is an ode to the ocean, with a raw bar and classic seafood dishes. Try their Smoked Fish Dip with cucumber, radish and grilled focaccia. Ventuno Restaurant

Ventuno is an elegant eatery in a Greek revival building serves up refined Italian cooking, including fresh pasta. For starters, try their fried local calamari or chilled Nantucket oysters in Campari-grapefruit Italian ice. For the main course, try a house made pasta dish like the pappardelle al sugo d’agnello, spaghetti alla vongole or radiatori di farro. Ventuno also offers a variety of sides to enjoy with any meal, including duck-fat fried fingerling potatoes and heirloom polenta with parmigiano. End the meal with a sweet dessert like bomboloncini (shown below).

The Nantucket Lobster Trap at Cisco Brewery

We tried their Lobster Roll with Curly Fries at the Cisco Brewery Acktoberfest celebration. Chunks of fresh lobster with the right amount of mayo. Easily topped our list of spots for the best lobster rolls. Be sure to pair it with a cold beer, like Cisco’s Whale Tale.
