We visited the New York Botanical Garden to view their installment of their 16th annual Orchid Show which is running now through Sunday, April 22nd.

The Orchid Show showcases thousands of orchids in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory featuring a series of installations crafted by floral artist Daniel Ost. In Belgium, Ost has been called “the Picasso of flower arranging,” and in France he was touted as “the international star of floral decoration.”

Viewing the Orchid Show is a must, especially when you need a break from the endless snowstorms we’ve been facing in the Northeast. It’s a pleasant reminder that Spring is coming.

Here’s a short video of our experience.
