This is the first of many posts by our daughter, Kai. We just returned from a trip to Martha’s Vineyard, or should I say, The Vineyard. We’re missing the beaches and the island vibes already. While we work on our island recap, we’ll give you a teaser from a 7-year-old’s point of view. Enjoy!

Martha’s Vineyard

Me and my family went to Martha’s Vineyard for vacation. We saw lighthouses. We went on a ferry boat 🚤 to go to some beaches. I made a GIANT sandcastle at East Beach. On Wasquee Beach, we found lots of Scallop shells. And oysters and big clam shells, too!

We went swimming in the hotel’s swimming pool.

We also went to some restaurants. We got ice cream too! My favorite place to get ice cream at Marthas Vineyard is Vineyard Scoops. I got peanut butter chocolate ice cream. I thought it was delicious!

I really liked Martha’s Vineyard. I want to go back.
