Product Review: Moleskine Restaurant Journal
Moleskine opened a new boutique in Grand Central Terminal this week. For sale are a selection journals of varying sizes, pens, and other accessories. Originally I planned on getting a small pocket notebook to use for jotting notes when I dine out. After looking through their collection I came across the Restaurant Journal. Not quite the size I was looking for, but it was organized perfectly, and had entries where I can log my experiences, takeaways, and other notes.
The journal has 5 themed sections and 5 tabbed sections to personalize;
- Space for restaurant, bars and café notes, chefs’ tips, takeaway ratings, wish list;
- blank pages for your comments;
- 202 white and colored adhesive labels to personalize your journal.
- Cover and spine with glossy black debossing.
- Double expandable inner pocket.
The Restaurant Journal sells for $19.95 at their store, or for under $16 on Amazon. I’ve only used it once so far during a press dinner. Though the notebook was a little big (sometimes bigger than my dinner plate), it was still handy to use because of the text areas within the restaurant reviews tab of the journal.
